Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
